God’s Promises for
Homeschool Mamas

1. God Himself is the real Teacher of my children. This is the ultimate homeschool promise!
   “All your children will be taught by the Lord, and great will be their peace.” (Isaiah 54:13 NIV)
2. As I homeschool my children, I am doing what God has commanded parents to do.
   “These commandments… shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children…” (Deuteronomy 6:6–7 ESV)
3. My work will bear fruit. I won’t give up, even if I am tired, burned out, stressed out, overwhelmed, or overstimulated from the back-and- forth of parenting and teaching. God promises I will reap a reward from what I’ve sown.
   “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9 NIV)
4. If my homeschool doesn’t seem to be going well, God isn’t finished with it yet. I will keep going.
   “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you (and your homeschool) will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 1:6 NIV)
5. Jesus picks me up, holds me close to his heart, and gently leads me as a homeschool mama.
   “He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young.” (Isaiah 40:11 NIV)
6. The Lord is the master builder. He not only builds my house, He also builds my homeschool.
   “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” (Psalm 127:1 NIV)
7. I can trust God to direct our homeschool as I seek Him.
   “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV)
8. Every day is a fresh start for my homeschool.
   “His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning.” (Lamentations 3:22–23 ESV)
