Daily Declarations

  1. Nothing is impossible for my homeschool. We can do all things in our homeschool through Jesus, who strengths us for every book, lesson, conversation, family dynamic, and goal we have. (Luke 1:37; Philippians 4:13)
  2. I boldly approach the throne of grace for every homeschool need we have, and we receive mercy, grace, and help to strengthen us in our time of weakness. (Hebrews 4:16)
  3. God gives me wisdom or direction for our homeschool every time I ask him. I don’t question whether or not He will speak to me. Every time I need wisdom and direction for our homeschool, He gives it to me generously. I do not doubt what He speaks but embrace it with confidence. (James 1:5-6)
  4. I am an intimate and cherished friend of God. God reveals His heart to me for homeschooling my children. (John 15:15)
  5. God fights for our homeschool. Hard days, difficult lessons, relationship challenges, and flared emotions are not a problem for Him. We stand still, full of faith and trust. (Exodus 14:14)
  6. God’s yoke for our homeschool is easy and light. We don’t feel burdened by homeschooling. If our lessons, routine, schedule, curriculum, expectations, activities, or any other area of our homeschool feels like a burden, we are not operating as the Lord wants us to and He will show us how to adjust so that the yoke of homeschooling is pleasant and easy to bear. (Matthew 11:30)
  7. Our communities encourage our homeschool and build us up. They are devoted to us and honor what we are doing. We make time to build relationships in our communities because we are excited to encourage others and help them move forward in their lives. Our homeschool is always looking for creative ways we can encourage others and motivate them toward their own beautiful works of compassion. (1 Thessalonians 5:11; Romans 12:10; Hebrews 10:24-25)
  8. Jesus stands at the right hand of God to intercede for our homeschool. He advocates for us before the Father. Every need we have is brought into the throne room of God, and His mercies toward our homeschool are new every morning. (Romans 8:34; 1 John 2:1; Lamentations 3:22-23)
  9. Our homeschool walks in freedom, not bondage. We are not slaves to curriculum, workbooks, math lessons, enrichment activities, or other commitments on our calendar. We know when to take a break and when to restart. We hear the voice of the Lord, and He is faithful to guide us. Our homeschool is empowered by Jesus, and we are free to live, move, and adjust our homeschool as He leads us. (Galatians 5:1; 2:20; John 10:27)
  10. Because we love God and are called according to His purposes, He uses every book, lesson, activity, relationship, and commitment for the good of our homeschool. Even things that may have been meant for evil against our homeschool are turned around by God and used for our benefit. (Romans 8:28)
  11. Every day of our homeschool is blessed and ordered by God. Our homeschool delights God. He takes pleasure in our journey together. We do not feel overwhelmed by our homeschool challenges because the Lord holds us up with His hand. (Psalm 37:23-24) Though the wicked lie in wait to devour the righteous, our homeschool will not be condemned, judged, or destroyed. The Lord cuts the wicked off from us and delivers our homeschool from anything that comes against us because we take refuge in Him. (Psalm 37:32-33, 40)
  12. Everyone in my homeschool serves the Lord. (Joshua 24:15)
  13. My children are taught the Word of God in our homeschool and will remember what they’ve learned. God’s Word lives inside them and will instruct, empower, correct, direct, and lead them so that they become mature believers, perfectly prepared to fulfill every assignment God gives them. (2 Timothy 3:15-17)
  14. My children receive the Word of the Lord spoken over them in our homeschool, and they remember it wherever they go. They don’t forget the Word of the Lord because it is written on their hearts and minds. (Deuteronomy 6:6-9)
  15. My children know the way they should go, and the values they learn in our homeschool will be with them for the rest of their lives. Even when they are old, they will remember what they learned in our homeschool and will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)
  16. The wise words and instruction spoken over my children in our homeschool bring them insight, grace-filled thoughts, and reins to guide their decisions. When invited to sin, my children say “no.” (Proverbs 1:8-10)
  17. No weapon formed against our homeschool- distraction, discouragement, disappointment, failure, or division- shall prosper. (Isaiah 54:17)
  18. God provides for every need we have in our homeschool. He has more than enough for us, and His provision for us gives Him glory. (Philippians 4:19-20)
  19. Our homeschool has integrity and teaches truth. As a result, our homeschool walks in favor with God and man, and we have a reputation for living life well. (Proverbs 3:3-4)
  20. God gives our homeschool more than we can ask for or imagine.(Ephesians 3:20)
  21. In our homeschool, we take our fatigue and weariness to Jesus, and we are refreshed every time. He is our oasis, and He gives us rest. As He joins His life to ours and teaches us His ways, we learn that He is always easy to please. (Matthew 11:28-29)
  22. The Lord blesses the work of our homeschool, and everything we set our hands, hearts, and minds to excels. Because we pay attention to God’s Word and follow what it says, we are magnets for God’s blessings and our homeschool overflows with divine prosperity. People looking at our homeschool will see the face of God because of what He does in and through us. (Deuteronomy 28:2, 8, 10-13)
  23. In our homeschool, we spend time with Jesus and we are changed. We learn more from time in His Presence than we could ever learn from any of our books. (Acts 4:13)
  24. In our homeschool, the Holy Spirit gives us remarkable wisdom to learn how to argue and defend our faith. When we speak, we are prompted by the Holy Spirit, and no one can refute what we say. (Acts 6:10)
  25. In our homeschool, we have the Spirit of God, not the spirit of this world. We are not like those who live on an entirely human level, trying to interpret the things of God with human intellect. Instead, our homeschool lives in the Spirit, carefully evaluates all things by the Spirit, and understands the revelations of the Spirit. (1 Corinthians 2:12-15)
  26. In our homeschool, the Holy Spirit reveals the thoughts and purposes of Christ. The Holy Spirit gives us the ability to understand the mysteries of God. We welcome divine revelation of truth, which can’t be understood by the intellect of man. Because our homeschool has the mind of Christ, we can discern His thoughts and purposes. (1 Corinthians 2:16)
  27. In our homeschool, we are joined together in perfect unity— with one heart, one passion, and united in one love. We are free from pride-filled opinions that would harm our unity. We don’t allow self-promotion to hide in our hearts. We are humble, putting others first and viewing them as more important than ourselves. We reject every form of selfishness in our homeschool. We care more about what matters to others than what’s important to us. Our example is Jesus Christ, and his mindset is our motivation. (Philippians 2:2-)5
  28. When we read Scripture in our homeschool, we are encouraged and inspired. We are given hope and can endure all things. This includes every subject, lesson, or relationship challenge we encounter. (Romans 15:)4
  29. Our homeschool tells of all the marvelous things God has done. We are filled with joy because of Him. Our enemies retreat, stagger, and die when He appears in our midst. He stands up for our cause and vindicates our homeschool when we need Him the most. He gives us justice from His righteous throne. (Psalm 9:1 4)
  30. Our homeschool is holy ground. It is a sacred place where we “take off our sandals” and revere God. We begin each day, book, lesson, and activity with a readiness in our hearts to remove worldly realities and receive the things of God. (Acts 7:33; Exodus 3:5)
  31. In our homeschool, God gives us insight and skill in literature and science. Our homeschool is fertile ground to grow, and even excel, in each of these areas. The wisdom and understanding God gives is ten times superior to anything of this world. (Daniel 1:17, 20)
  32. My marriage is built upon the rock, Jesus Christ. The storms that come from raising children and homeschooling them do not shake my marriage because its foundation is secure. We forgive, love, and respect each other. (Matthew 7:24-25; 1 Corinthians 3:11; Colossians 3:13; Ephesians 5:33)
  33. The peace of Christ rules our homeschool, and we are thankful. (Colossians 3:15)
  34. Constructive criticism is given and received in our homeschool because it opens our hearts to the path of life and makes us at home among the wise. (Proverbs 15:31)
  35. We love wisdom and learn all we can in our homeschool. (Proverbs 19:8)
  36. I am not an ambivalent, half-hearted, unstable person who believes one minute and doubts the next. I am an empowered woman approaching the throne of God with confident faith that I will receive because I’m praying and declaring the Word of God, which is true, living, and active (James 1:6–8, Hebrews 4:12).
